Description: | Rare matrix specimen of microcline crystals that are twinned following the Carlsbad Law of feldspar twinning. These microcline crystals were phenocrysts that weathered out of solid granite. The microcline crystals were restored to the matrix with glue. Collected ca. 1980 |
