Locality: | Garnet Ledge, east shore of Stikine River Delta, 11 km north of Wrangell, Alaska |
Description: | Tree lustrous translucent red-brown almandine garnet crystals exposed in gray schist. The almandine garnet crystals are dodecahedral form modified by trapezohedral edge faces. One other almandine crystal has deep color. This site is now exhausted. Collected ca. 1995 |
