Description: | Sparkling cluster of elongated scalenohedral calcite crystals to 45 mm overgrown with lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm. A few calcite terminations are incomplete revealing the calcite core and the thin quartz layer. Ex. Jack Troy (1930-2016) collection #W60, originally acquired ca. 1990 |
