Locality:Solo River, Central Java, Indonesia
Description:Finger-shaped translucent gray chalcedony stalactitic formations that probably formed over rhizoliths. The chalcedony stalactites have tapered hollow core. This find was erroneously labeled as Bamboo Quartz or Bamboo Agate, a name now discredited. Ex. Jack Troy (1930-2016) collection #S73, originally acquired ca. 1989
