Description: | Spherical formation 45 mm across composed of many intergrown apophyllite crystals to 18 mm with a small fragment of matrix on the bottom. The apophyllite crystals are tabular form with {100} corner faces and {101} edge faces. Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
