Description: | Double-sided cluster of lustrous translucent pink to purple smithsonite crystals in 5-10 mm thick botryoidal layers coating gray matrix. The smithsonite has a silky luster caused by many sub-parallel microscopic crystal faces. Ex. Miller #1163; acquired from Chris Wright (1946-2014); ex. Benny Fenn (1926–2014) in 2010 |
