Description: | Complexly etched ametrine quartz crystal, the variety of quartz composed of alternating internal zones of purple amethyst quartz and yellow citrine quartz. This ametrine crystal has convoluted faces, caused by etching, that partially obscures the zoning. Ex. Miller #M1533; originally collected in 1991 |
