Description: | Cluster of interconnected lustrous translucent blue azurite crystals to 15 mm that are partially replaced by fibrous green malachite. The azurite crystallized first then altered on the interior to malachite, leaving only a thin 0.5 mm skin of azurite. Ex. Miller #M1455; collected in 2009 |
