Locality:Roncari Quarry, East Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut
Description:Large cluster of translucent green prehnite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 8 mm diameter on lustrous translucent white rhombohedral calcite crystals to 30 mm. The surfaces of the prehnite balls are composed of many small parallel crystal faces. The calcite fluoresces orange under SW UV. Ex. S. Kelland collection; originally acquired October 2007
