Description: | Large 50 mm trapezohedral dark-brown almandine garnet crystal with partial crystals of black schorl tourmaline and patches of colorless hyalite that fluoresce bright green under shortwave ultraviolet illumination. A classic collected ca. 1930. Originally acquired August 2010 from Breck Kent |
