Description: | Lustrous translucent pink rubellite tourmaline crystals, the pink variety of elbaite tourmaline, in a diverging spray-shaped formation embedded in quartz. The old label does not list exact location, but it matches Black Mountain rubellite specimens. Ex. Dr. Warren I Johansson (1921-2014); collected 7 August 1939 |
