Locality:Herkimer Diamond Development Mine, Middleville, Herkimer County, New York
Description:Cluster of lustrous Herkimer Diamonds, the variety of clear quartz crystals from the vicinity of Herkimer County, with no matrix. The smaller Herkimer Diamonds on the periphery have translucent brown inclusions, probably hydrocarbon or dolostone. Ex. Miller #M1231; collected in 2011
