Description: | Branching formation of translucent brown calcite-aragonite crystals. Both calcite and aragonite, both forms of calcium carbonate, form at this locality, often within single crystals. The surfaces were cleaned using HCL resulting in melted appearance. Fluoresces yellow-white under LW-SW UV illumination. Ex. Miller #M2623 |
