Description: | Half of a geode lined with transparent pink quartz crystals. The pink color of these quartz crystals is caused by iron, the same as amethyst, so it was dubbed by Rossman as Pink Amethyst. See article: Mineralogical Record volume 51, #2, pp. 293-303. Ex.
