Mineral:Schorl Tourmaline
Locality:Havey Quarry, Poland, Androscoggin County, Maine
Description:Large crystallized mass of lustrous black schorl tourmaline crystals with no matrix attached. The schorl tourmaline crystals are not terminated, but have remnants of muscovite mica on the ends indicating they contacted adjacent minerals on the ends. Ex. Miller #M2967; collected by Jeff Morrison on 15 August 2015
