Description: | Hemispherical crystallized mass of bladed translucent vivid-blue azurite crystals with no matrix. The azurite crystals on left edge of the cluster have partially altered to green malachite, which would produce pseudomorphs if the process continued. Ex. Miller #M1553; originally acquired in 2013 from Chris Wright (1946-2014); collected ca. 1960 |
