Mineral:Marcasite intersecting stalactitic formations
Locality:Linwood Mine, Buffalo, Scott County, Iowa
Description:Lustrous greenish-yellow metallic marcasite crystals in intersecting linear formations to 145 mm long, The marcasite crystals are sharp, well formed, and have iridescent surface luster. The broken ends reveal a small hollow center hole in each formation. Collected in 2021
