Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless prismatic hemimorphite crystals to 1.5 mm on limonite-stained brown dolomite crystals to 2 mm. Hemimorphite is an uncommon mineral in the Rush Creek District, and highly sought by collectors. Collected early 1970s. Ex. Henry Delinde (1923-2019) collection, co-author of Arkansas Phosphate Minerals in Rocks and Minerals, July-Aug. 1989 |
