Description: | Rich cluster of lustrous transparent-to-translucent wine-red grossular garnet crystals to 11 mm in a shallow cavity lined with translucent green diopside crystals to 2 mm. The grossular garnet crystals are dodecahedral form and are incomplete on the rear Ex. S. Kelland collection; collected ca. 1995 by Don Lapham |
