Mineral:Quartz var. Agate pseudomorphs after Coral (Tampa Bay Coral)
Locality:Ballast Point, Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County, Florida
Description:Lustrous transparent yellow-brown quartz chalcedony that formed replacing fossilized coral, known locally as Tampa Bay Coral. The agate formations have white cores visible inside, giving them a pearl-like glow, and they fluoresce under LW UV illumination Ex. S. Kelland collection; collected in 1970
