Mineral:Chalcopyrite on Quartz pseudomorphs after Galena and pseudomorphs after Anhydrite
Locality:Casteel Mine (Viburnum No. 35 Mine), Bixby, Iron County, Missouri
Description:Lustrous yellow-metallic chalcopyrite crystals to 2 mm on translucent gray quartz pseudomorphs (epimorphs) after rounded galena crystals to 25 mm, mixed with pseudomorphs (epimorphs also) after thin bladed crystals thought to be anhydrite.
Overall Size:8x8x6 cm
Crystals:micro to 2 mm
