Description: | Unusually large elongated cluster of lustrous transparent-to-translucent colorless apophyllite crystals on basalt. The apophyllite crystals are tabular rectangular form with {101} corner faces. The small cavities prevented large clusters like this one. From my personal collection; collected ca. 1994. This quarry is closed and being converted to residential development |
