Description: | Lustrous translucent red rutile crystals in groups of parallel crystals running through limonite-stained muscovite and quartz. Rutile specimens from the Onganja Mine were uncommon (Mindat.org only shows nine photos), and extremely difficult to obtain. From my personal collection; ex. Martin Farber collection |
