Locality: | Jianshan Mine, Kuruktag Mountains, 300 km southeast of Ürümqi, Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uygur Region, China |
Description: | Thin plate of lustrous translucent orange bladed wulfenite crystals surrounded by contrasting translucent white calcite. The wulfenite crystals are square bladed form with truncated corners and exhibit zoned growth patterns and secondary overgrowth. Collected ca. 2006.
