Description:Large lustrous transparent tanzanite crystal, the trichroic blue-violet gem variety of zoisite, with transparent gemmy termination and distinct darker blue zone through the middle. The tanzanite crystal shows slight color change: front=blue, side=violet. Collected ca. 2010. Weight: 16.0 grams (80 carats)
