Description: | Vein formation of lustrous yellow-metallic native gold crystals (naturally occurring gold crystals) on white quartz. The gold vein ran through the quartz and was exposed by removing the quartz on the front which protected the gold crystals from damage. Originally acquired from Doug Wallace; collected in 2012. Weight: 15.5 grams (gold content = 7 grams) |
