Locality:Merelani Hills, near Arusha, Tanzania
Description:Flat formation of parallel lustrous transparent-to-translucent green tsavorite garnet, the variety of Cr- an V-bearing garnet first found at Tsavo East National Park. The tsavorite crystals have good color. Weight: 10.3 grams
