Description: | Lustrous transparent dark-pink rubellite tourmaline crystal, the pink gem variety of elbaite tourmaline, with striated prism faces and first- and second-order pyramidal termination faces. The bottom end shows an 8 mm facet-grade gem nodule. Collected ca. 1999. Weight: 21.90 grams |
