Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-red cuprite crystals over brown matrix. The cuprite crystals formed as a vein running through matrix which was trimmed away. The cuprite crystals are cubo-octahedral with dodecahedral edges faces. Ex. Miller collection T220; acquired from E. Greene. Collected ca. 2015, the mine is now closed forever |
