Locality:Deshgaon, Khandwa District, Madhya Pradesh, India
Description:Lustrous transparent colorless mesolite crystals with red core caused by iron-oxide impurities (not thomsonite as originally reported) on gray basalt. The mesolite formed in hair-like crystals, over an earlier layer of colorless heulandite crystals. New at Tucson 2023
