Description: | Lustrous transparent bluish-green aquamarine crystal, the blue-green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with no matrix attached. The aquamarine crystal has striated prism faces and is unterminated. A good aqua from an old Dana locality (1858). Ex. Miller collection T414; acquired in 2012 from E. Greene; ex. Dr. Warren I Johansson (1921-2014); collected 1 December 1892 by F. V. Johansson |
