| Description: | Lustrous transparent-to-translucent red spinel crystals that are twinned on the octahedral {111} plane following the Spinel Law of isometric twinning. The twin plane is distinctly visible on the edges of the spinel crystals. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Ex. Miller collection T2194; ex. Betts #61434; collected in 2012 |
