Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-red rhodolite garnet, the pink-red gem variety of garnet in the Almandine-Pyrope Series, with remnants of silvery mica schist on the surfaces. The pyrope garnet has surfaces composed of many smaller parallel crystal faces. |
