Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-blue azurite crystals over a core of brown limonite gossan. The azurite crystals are twisted rhombohedral form, and have textured surfaces composed of smaller parallel crystal faces. Ex. Miller collection T634; ex. Betts #57555; ex. Roy A. Smith (1935-2014) collection, originally acquired in 1991 from Neal A. Pfaff (1947–2013) |
