Description: | Irregularly shaped iron meteorite with convoluted surfaces caused by the molten meteorite interacting with the atmosphere during entry. The surfaces were polished to highlight the metallic content and to make it suitable for setting in jewelry. Weight: 7.3 grams. Ex. Miller collection T1898; fell approximately 2200 B.C.E. |
