Description: | Lustrous opaque brown-black jeffersonite crystals, the zinc- and manganese-rich variety of augite, in parallel orientation. The jeffersonite crystals have slightly waxy luster and the main crystals are terminated on both ends. Ex. Miller collection T3630; ex. Betts #77624; collected April 1993 |
