Description: | Large crystals (for the locality) of lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 8 mm with scattered translucent colorless calcite microcrystals on the surfaces. The pyrite crystals are cubic form, with octahedral corner faces. Pyrite was uncommon here. Ex. Miller collection T3640; ex. Betts #77625; collected 1 September 1996 |
