Description: | Two interconnected transparent pale-pink sapphire crystals with tabular hexagonal form and flat basal pinacoid terminations. This is a pink sapphire, a gem variety of the mineral species corundum. If the sapphire were deeper pink it would be called ruby Ex. Miller collection T2148 |
