Description: | Superb large individual crystals of lustrous dark red-black astrophyllite intermixed with platy lustrous translucent gray crystals to 5 mm of unidentified mineral, possibly barite. Individual crystals of astrophyllite are uncommon. Ex. Miller collection T1510 originally acquired in 2011 from Chris Wright (1946-2014) private collection for $195 |
