Locality: | Aghbar Mine, 10 km east of Bou Azzer Mine, Zagora, Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco |
Description: | Small cluster of lustrous translucent-to-transparent pink calcite crystals with no matrix on the bottom. The calcite pink color is caused by due to cobalt impurities. These specimens are commonly called Cobaltoan Calcite by mineral collectors. Ex. Miller collection T3664 |
