Description: | Pristine quartz pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite crystals to 45 mm long with tan-colored rosettes to 3 mm diameter of lustrous aragonite crystals throughout. The calcite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz, then coated with aragonite. |
