| Description: | Lustrous transparent-to-translucent 8 cm scalenohedral colorless calcite crystal with a with a 4 cm rhombohedral calcite crystal in epitaxial orientation on the termination. The surfaces of the scalenohedron are composed of small parallel rhombic faces. Ex. Paul Seel (1904-1982) collection #956; the mineral Seelite was named in his honor. |
