Mineral:Quartz var. Amethyst
Locality:Tafelkop, Goboboseb Mountains, 27 km west of Brandberg Mountain, Erongo region, Namibia
Description:Two crystals of deep purple amethyst quartz with custom-made black base to support upright for display. The crystals vary from translucent to transparent at the terminations and have red hematite microinclusions. One crystal tip is chipped.
