Minerals Species: Barite on Malachite.
Location of mineral deposit: Shinkolobwe Mine, Shaba Province, Zaire.
Description: A very good specimen of a single translucent barite crystal 3 cm long, with chisel-shaped termination, standing upright in mass of sculptured green malachite from the new find a few years ago.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-3 cm.
