Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 8720:

Minerals Species: Calcite var. Mangano with Manganite.
Location of mineral deposit: Wessels Mine, Kuruman Province, North Cape Prov., South Africa.
Description: Plumose formation of pink mangano-calcite with sparkling drusy black manganite on the terminations. Fluoresces orange under UV illumination. Ex. Cilen collection #9405.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.
