crystals that are found in cavities in sedimentary deposits running from
just west of Albany, New York to Middleville, New York. Herkimer Diamonds
were found by early inhabitants of the region and were called Herkimer Diamonds
because their doubly terminated form resembles diamonds, but they are entirely
