Prehnite is a translucent green silicate commonly found in zeolite cavities,
frequently in spherical botryoidal aggregates with smooth surfaces, with
radial internal structure. Rarely the prehnite aggregates will be
well-crystallized and the surfaces of the aggregates will be composed of
